Aleira Plath

LLB Hons, BCom

Aleira joined the team at O’Connor Harris Barristers and Solicitors in June 2016.

She studied at the University of Canberra and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2016 & a Bachelor of Commerce in 2014, and is currently continuing her education and studying for a Master of Terrorism and Security Studies at Charles Sturt University.

Aleira has carriage of our Wills, Power of Attorney and Estate Planning, so whether you are making, defending or contesting a Will, or dealing with the complexity that arises from the passing away of a loved one,  Aleira has the experience to guide you through and obtain the desired outcome professionally, efficiently and sympathetically.

Other areas that Aleira covers are commercial lease, debt recovery, business purchase and acquisition matters in the ACT and NSW. In addition, Aleira advises clients on life/TPD (total permanent disability) insurance claims as well as superannuation benefits payouts.

Aleira is most definitely a ‘people person’, and likes nothing more than a warm office, a cup of hot chocolate and the buzz of different clients coming and going throughout the day.

When Aleira is away from the office she spends most weekends away travelling NSW to compete with her horses, when she does have the odd weekend at home, it’s definitely partner and family time, and the odd weed might get pulled out of the garden.

“I thrive on the challenge to produce & obtain the desired outcome for my clients”
